Our Past Students
It's more than the tools you use...
Anyone can learn how to use social listening tools, but it doesn’t make them a social intelligence professional. Social listening isn’t just a technological challenge (although it does play a role) you also need to consider process and people - you and your soft skills.
That’s what we nurture on the Social Intelligence Growth Certification. So you not only have the tools but the critical thinking needed to make social listening a valuable source of insight.
Building Leaders
Over 14 weeks (36 hours total) we build confident social intelligence professionals. Professionals who are ready to lead the development of their social intelligence program.
Art & Science
Our students understand the art and the science of analyzing social and internet data. They get new frameworks to deploy, inspirational use cases to innovate with, and have the critical thinking skills to pull it together.

Course modules
The Social Intelligence Growth Certification is what we call and ‘end to end’ taster program. We start by looking at what you see social intelligence to be, how to brief social intelligence projects and move all the way through to telling a story with the data that people will want to take action on.
In module one, we being to explore all the different use cases of social intelligence. We dive into how teams might be structured, their responsibilities, and how they support the organization. We’ll help you to build a scalable engine to start a briefing process for new projects, set that project up for success, and engage the right stakeholders.
Module two is all about DATA. We can’t get insight without the data but too much data can lead to too few insights. We need to get the most relevant data, not necessarily all the data. In module two, we explore the datasources, selecting the right sources for your projects, and have a look at the role query writing plays in gathering the right data.
We start to explore the SITech Landscape and all the categories of tools that analyze social and internet data. We know (from theState of Social Listening) that organizations are building SITech Stacks with on average at least three tools. In module three, this is your opportunity to explore the options available to fill in the holes in your current stack.
Module Four is your opportunity to learn how to create a code frame. Taxonomy building is your new best friend when you want to be able to run deep social listening projects and we’re going to show you how. You’ll walkaway with a new skill to help make every social intelligence project one with deep insights.
In module five we tackle one of the biggest use cases for social intelligence, brand health tracking. There’s more than one way to use social data in brand reputation management and brand health tracking, in module five you’ll start to discover the right measures for your brand.
Module six is all about marketing and using social data in ideation rather than performance measurement. You’ll explore different ways to understand audiences and how to translate those insights into content and strategy recommendations.
Finally, in module seven, we explore how to tell stories with our data. Stories that will make people pay attention and be inspired to take action. There’s no more reports sitting unopened in people’s inbox anymore with the repeatable framework we teach in module seven.
