What does social intelligence mean to you?
Social intelligence to me is to possess the capacity to understand how to analyze human communications in all of its forms and be able to use the knowledge to create a company strategy based on it. It is a craft that encompasses having a tremendous amount of knowledge in software, coding, critical thinking, psychology, and stellar writing skills.
What motivates you in your work? What makes you want to keep working in social intelligence?
Using data for the greater good motivates me. I love working with organizations that are continuously seeking to change the world, make an impact and keep our planet safe! My incredibly talented team is also another very important piece of what keeps me going – they not only motivate me, but they inspire me!
What do you think makes you successful in your work?
Offering an all-encompassing social listening service providing clients with a one-stop-shop experience has helped RILA GLOBAL CONSULTING and myself be successful.
What are the key skills that have contributed to your success?
Without a doubt being technically savvy and knowing how to write Boolean in 7 social listening software languages, as well as being able to work directly with clients in multiple languages (as I speak 5 languages myself) has greatly contributed to my international success.
What makes social data special compared to other data sources?
The fact that it is unprompted, a living and breathing dataset with a tremendous amount of depth to it is unbeatable. Add the layer of its impact, reach, and how it makes the world feel smaller than it is and social listening becomes the most unique consumer dataset available out there.
What does being a social intelligence pioneer mean in the context of your work?
Being smart, innovative, understanding global trends, being able to do it all yourself without needing to loop in anyone else to do any part of the consumer listening journey leveraging social listening. That is what I consider a pioneer and mastermind social listening guru truly means.
