Black Friday marks the last mile of 2021 – and the “official” start of the Christmas season. (Sh)elves are dressed in holiday costumes, and gift-givers have been hard at work preparing for end-of-year celebrations. Now, just one month ahead of Christmas, we wanted to find out what’s topping 2021 wish lists and how shoppers are progressing.

In this report, we gather insights from an Ipsos DIY Omnibus survey of 1,000 respondents per country in the US, UK, Australia, Germany, France, and Italy, and analyze millions of social conversations to reveal:

• The top items and products on shoppers’ 2021 Christmas wish lists
• Which industries and markets are leading the charge this holiday season
• How shoppers feel about this year’s shopping and celebrations
