The Meltwater Social Summit hits London on the 13th March 2019.  It’s free to attend and here’s what to expect…

The hugely popular Sysomos Social Summit has transformed into the Meltwater Social Summit after their acquisition of Sysomos – and, the #meltwatersummit hits London on the 13th of March 2019.

Who’s the Summit For?

The Summit brings digital marketers together to share strategies for acting on social media insights that drive business opportunities.

It’s the place for marketers to network and share how they are using social data to solve problems and uncover new insights.


Who’s Talking?

Our Dr Jillian Ney is keynoting the one day event.  She currently running some primary research to create a whitepaper about content optimisation with social data.  She’ll share her insights in her presentation The Secret Brain Science of Content Optimisation.

Dr Jillian has something a little interesting planned for the presentation – it’s not to be missed.

Other confirmed speakers include Giles Peddy from LEWIS.  And, there is a slew of other people to be confirmed on the lead up to the event. We’ll continue to update as more event details are announced.

The British Heart Foundation will also be speaking, giving us insights into how they use social in their campaigns.

You’ll also hear from Alexandre Huot, Head of Social Media at the International Olympic Committee on ‘bringing the Olympics to a global social media audience’; Jason Maldonado, Senior Manager of Social Media at Mailchimp about ‘how Mailchimp used Meltwater to help launch a new brand system’; and, Lukas Andriukaitis, Research Associate at the Digital Forensic Research Lab, Atlantic Council on ‘fighting disinformation with social analytics’.
